Words can have double meanings and when you’re talking to geeks, you should be careful about how you use the word “companion.” There’s the Doctor Who version which is all about adventure and fun and friendship, and there’s the Firefly version which is about most of those things plus some kissing and stuff. DeviantArt user Humorous-D illustrates the difference in the above comic. Choose your words wisely.
