The Star Wars comic is coming to comic book shops on September 4th, but you can take a peek at a preview now. StarWars.com and Dark Horse have posted a first look at the variant covers and a few interior pages of the story by J.W. Rinzler and Mike Mayhew, and they look incredibly cool.
The Star Wars tells the story of George Lucas’ first draft of the script that eventually became Star Wars. As you can see in the preview images and the book trailer we previously posted, the first stab at the space fantasy looks a lot different. The images are just a touch too small to make out the dialogue, but you can drink in the art.
