These images, created by Joao Pires, capture the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at their lowest. They may just be turtles, but here they are brothers in arms who are losing the fight, and each other. It’s not just the blood and injuries they’ve suffered, but the way each of them seems physically weighed down by the battle that makes this work so beautiful.
